Make-n-Takes at the Commons
We partner with our friends at the Juniata River Commons, in Mifflintown to offer mini workshops most Saturday mornings from 9-2 p.m.
From succulent planters and holiday ornaments made from dried flowers to hand tied bouquets and garden demos, these short projects are affordable, nature based, and fun for all ages. Most take under an hour to complete and guests can drop by anytime throughout the morning and create something that they can be proud of.
In the summer, these Make-n-Takes often utilize the U-pick gardens we have planted next to the market or curated flower bars that we set up for the morning.

U-pick or Flower Bar Parties!
We love to host flower focused Birthday parties, Bridal Showers, and other small celebrations at our U-pick gardens near the Juniata River Commons, in the farm Studio, or at our creekside open air pavilion. But we are just as happy to bring the flower bar and workshop experience to your own home, backyard, church fellowship hall, or party location.
Depending on the needs of your group, we can tailor our involvement to suit your gathering from providing a full hour long tutorial to just having recipe cards printed for your relaxed DIY garden party. Different pricing packages are available depending on the length of tutorial provided and the number and types of blooms included in the “bar”.

Artist Collaborations
We love working with other creative people on projects! From cultural celebrations like Dia De Los Muertos, to art gallery openings, dance recitals, and theater productions we love to incorporate the beauty of flowers into collaborative projects. Some of our favorite projects have included creating floral masks and jewelry for a fashion show, designing floral arrangements to compliment 2D paintings for an art opening, crafting a Mother’s Day Floral arch installation for an entire town to enjoy, and designing florals for a stylized photo shoot that celebrated ethnic, gender, and age diversity.
Have an idea for a project that would bring beauty and creativity to your community with flowers? We’d love to talk about how we can collaborate!
