Seasonal Floral Design 101B: Floral Arches and Installations with Autumn’s Beauty

  • Wilding Hope Farm and Studio 229 Cuba Mills Road Mifflintown, PA, 17059 United States (map)

Come learn how to use sustainable mechanics to create lush floral arches and standing floral installations using autumnal branches, dried pods, vines and grasses, glorious Dahlias and other late season blooms. Together we will create an elaborate backdrop of florals for the Year End Harvest Celebration hosted at the farm the next day.

For those who want to take their floral skills to the next level, this workshop will focus on creativity, problem solving, and creating 3D sculptural forms using florals. This is also an excellent workshop for those wishing to move away from using traditional floral foam in their design work since we will only be using sustainable mechanics. A photographer will be on hand to capture the process and photos of the participants with the final product. Participants will leave with European hand tied bouquets and a wealth of knowledge about how to create sustainable floral installations. Light refreshments will be provided.
