Dahlia 101A: Digging, Storing and Propagating Dahlias from Tuber Divisions

$100.00

In Dahlia 101A we will demonstrate digging and dividing dahlia tubers for propagation and plant health, and show several different storage methods for overwintering tubers. Bring a pair of gloves and prepare to get some hands on experience.

We’ll also do a farm tour and explore our experimental methods of overwintering dahlias without digging both outdoors and in our field tunnels and talk about how we use inter cropping to save growing space and control weeds and pests. All attendees will receive a bag of 5 healthy tubers that can be picked up in May from one of our Market stands or at the farm.
